Kristin Fisher was hired by CNN in July 2021 as the network's Space and Defense Correspondent. She is a reporter covering everything including NASA and Space Force, Space Force and commercial space businesses to the rise of Space Tourism. Kristin is the mother of two NASA astronauts. Kristin has grown up working in space, and covered the Trump and Biden Administration space policies for FOX News as White House Correspondent. As she covered the impeachment trials of two presidents as well as the 2020 Presidential Campaign and the two administrations' attempts to stop the spread of coronavirus, Kristin covered a lot of other subjects. Additionally, she went on trips with President Trump and the Vice President extensively. It included a secret trip with him to Afghanistan. Prior to being hired by the channel in, Kristin spent nearly a 10 years working her way up through the local news channels including Grand Junction, Colorado; Little Rock, Arkansas; and Washington, D.C. where she received the Emmy Award as a one-man-band reporter for the Washington, D.C.'s CBS affiliate. Kristin's expertise as a camerawoman has led her to create Field Mouse Films which specialized creating documentary-style films for clients of corporate nature, including Uber Hotels & Resorts and Starwood Hotels & Resorts. Kristin received her Bachelor of Science degree in journalism from Boston University. She lives in Washington, D.C., along with her family members, including their three-year-old daughter.
